"to lend to those less fortunate a helping hand"
National Philanthropy
Phi Mu's National Philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for children's hospitals in the U.S. and Canada. CMNH raises money each year to support local children's hospitals and the health of 10 million children each year.
Local Philanthropy
We are fortunate enough to be located only 15 minutes away from our local CMNH-sponsored hospital: Gillette Children's Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Each semester, we hold a large-scale philanthropy event raising money for Gillette; past events have included a Family Weekend Tailgate, Milkshakes for Miracles, Cheesin' for the Children, and a Phi Mu 5k.
Other ways we continue to stay philanthropic is through percentage nights at local restaurants, community service projects like Feed My Starving Children or The Ronald McDonald House, or supporting other Greek chapters on campus through their philanthropy events.
